You may already understand what needs to change. The harder question is what happens when pressure makes that understanding difficult to live.

The gap between knowing and doing
My work begins in the space between insight and capacity: where you understand the pattern, but pressure still pulls you towards the response you are trying to outgrow.
You know the boundary, but silence yourself to protect the relationship.
You know the conversation must happen, but fear what honesty may cost.
You want to lead well, but pressure makes you withdraw, over-accommodate or become more forceful than intended.
You can name the pattern, but still need a way to respond differently while it is happening.
Ways to work together
Psychologically informed work for adults, leaders and organisations who want more than advice: a space to understand what is happening and develop the capacity to respond differently.
For adults working through relationship patterns, boundaries, emotional difficulties, self-abandonment, self-trust, grief or difficult life transitions.
For couples who want to understand repeating conflict, communicate more honestly, rebuild relational safety and make thoughtful decisions about the relationship.
For managers, leaders and professionals who want to communicate assertively, navigate difficult conversations and lead without disappearing inside the role.
The Assertive Leadership Programme helps leaders represent people, performance and themselves under pressure—without defaulting to withdrawal, over-accommodation or unnecessary force.
Free seven-minute leadership reflection
The Leadership Pressure Gap helps you notice which capacity remains available under pressure, where your choices may narrow, and what you can practise next.
Find my Pressure GapThe LD approach
Patterns are not treated as evidence that something is wrong with you. Many began as intelligent responses to what life once required. We understand their meaning before deciding what must change.
We begin with what the experience has come to mean—not only what happened.
We notice the repeated ways you protect, pursue, withdraw, carry or disappear.
We strengthen your ability to remain present and choose under pressure.
We widen the space between what you feel and what you automatically do.
We practise responses that better represent your values, needs and responsibilities.
“People do not simply respond to what happens. They respond to what it comes to mean.”
Why work with Moeketsi
I bring psychology, personhood and real-world leadership into one conversation—so we can understand not only what is happening, but what it will take to respond differently when the pressure is real.
Across more than a decade in counselling, organisational trauma support, employee assistance, leadership coaching and team leadership, I have worked with individuals, couples and leaders whose challenge was rarely a lack of insight. They often knew what needed to change. The harder question was why that knowledge became difficult to access in the moments that mattered.
Through Unmasked with Moeketsi, I help people name psychological truths they often feel but struggle to articulate. LD Consulting takes that recognition further: into a focused, professional process shaped around your history, relationships, responsibilities and goals.
What to expect
Sessions are held online, last 60 minutes and focus on the real experiences you are currently navigating.
We make sense of the pattern and also work with what responding differently may require in practice.
The work is collaborative. You will be supported to make informed choices, not handed a script for your life.
Common questions
You do not need to share private details before making an enquiry. These answers are intended to help you decide whether the service and way of working feel appropriate.
Individual counselling is for personal, emotional and relational patterns. Couples counselling is relationship-focused support for partners working through recurring conflict, disconnection, trust, communication or important decisions about the relationship. General leadership coaching is flexible support for a current workplace pressure, decision or difficult conversation. The private Assertive Leadership pathway is a structured eight-module development journey with programme collateral, workplace experiments and debriefs. Organisational cohorts and sponsored one-to-one development are available by enquiry.
We begin with what brought you, the context around it and what you hope will become different. There is no expectation that you arrive with a perfectly organised story. The first conversation also helps us assess fit, clarify the way of working and identify an appropriate starting point.
Sessions take place online and last 60 minutes. Once the booking requirements are complete, you receive the meeting details. You will need a private space, a stable connection and a device that supports video and audio.
Counselling and coaching conversations are treated as confidential within the relevant ethical, legal and contracted limits. In organisation-sponsored coaching, any information shared with a sponsor is agreed in advance and normally focuses on contracted outcomes and high-level progress—not routine disclosure of private session content.
Couples counselling is relationship-focused rather than separate individual counselling for each partner. The first conversation clarifies what brings you, what each partner hopes may become different and whether the service is an appropriate fit. A no-secrets approach applies: information relevant to the relationship cannot be held privately in a way that compromises the joint process.
Individual counselling is R500 per 60-minute session. Couples counselling is R750 per 60-minute session. General leadership coaching is R850 per session. The private Assertive Leadership programme pathway is R1,000 per session and includes programme collateral. Organisational work is scoped by enquiry. Payment is made by EFT before the session, and a 24-hour cancellation policy applies.
The programme follows an eight-module developmental architecture. The schedule and pacing are agreed around the individual, sponsored-leadership or cohort context. View the complete programme journey.
